Think twice and don't be fooled by cam model sites that will either rip you off with $0 per minute private shows. Because the site gave the member free credits or make false statements about how much money you can make!
No independent cam model like myself can make $1000 per day or more. The average independent cam model just starting out can make anywhere from $50 to $199 per day. Top models who work hard and stay on cam for 8+ hours a day can make up to $200+ per day consistently.
Oh yes! You might see a cam model make $1000 or more in one day. But ask yourself this... Did the site pay her or was that a onetime deal? Yes, I have made $400 (after 50% payout). But that was in one day back in 2009 and when I first started my career as a cam model. Think about it!
Plus, you have to have thick skin, watch what you say on cam to prevent doxxing and don't care if your family, friends and/or future employers find out what you do for a living. Oh and know how to market yourself. Either with your own website, social media sites and/or traffic links.
Yes! You have to pay for traffic! NO site no matter what they say will bring traffic to you. You can't just go on cam and expect to make big bucks! You have to know how to sell shows without selling yourself cheap and set your limits.
Also, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes! Put it this way! If I knew what I know now, I would never have signed up!
